The Message Up in Air

To: Government officials

Lately your agenda has taken a sharp turn and has created a hard environment for those supporting it to get re elected. One of the problems that has been addressed has been access to simple television, radio, and broadcast communications. The newspaper prices have gone up, now in order to watch T.V you have to wait until a extra 30 to 60 dollars is laying around, which most dont have because other bills are necessary. These are the same people that put you in office before the age of digital. How can they support a message that they have no clue as far as it affects their lives. It may have to be a stimulus or redress to bring broadcast communications back on a worldwide level instead of it just being inclusive to those that can afford it during a recession. Yes We Can message is still what we believe in, but how can we say yes to something that we have had no idea to see the ramifications of it on a worldwide level. The message is clear that others know what is going on, and it is within their atmosphere that people are following. Whether it is a good idea or not, the message needs to be broadcast to the people, and not to the people that can afford it. Even Ronald Reagan believed in making sure the message on poverty was loud and clear. Peole was starving and hungry only because they did not have the knowledge of where to go. Obviously if people had the message, than the power of the people would be recognized.
